The city of Mendoza is the capital city of the Mendoza Province and is located in Argentina. The region is located in the northern part of the Argentina and is situated in the foothills of the Andes. Mendoza is the fourth largest city in the metropolis region of the country. A road which climbs to Aconcagua, which in turn is the highest mountain in the entire Western Hemisphere, is ideal for various sporting activities such as rock climbing, mountaineering, hiking, horse riding and rafting.
